Welcome!
This blog is for members of the A4NC and our neighbors to post their own essays and articles about our neighborhood. For shorter posts and for back-and-forth discussions, we also have a Google Group set up as well.
Everyone can read entries posted here. To become a member of this group, so you can post your own entries, contact the blog administrators.

Here's a test comment. I hope people like this site and use it a lot.
Hello, neighbors. I'd like to take this opportunity to come on down to the Central Square Theater - a place we hope you will come to think of as Your Theater - and see a show! There are two resident theater companies there - Underground Railway Theater, and The Nora Theater Company - so the lights are always on, and there is a new play each month! Only one more weekend for We Won't Pay, We Won't Pay!, a wonderful political comedy by Italian farce master, Dario Fo - the only clown to win the Nobel Prize for literature. Visit www.centralsquaretheater.org. (A tip: if you call the box office when it is open, or come on by, you can avoid service charges! Central Square Theater Box Office, 450 Mass. Ave. (hext to Mary Chung's), hours T - F, noon-3 and one hour before curtain times for all shows. Or call to reserve tickets during box office hours: 617-57MYCST.
Coming in November and December - Two Plays about Time in Rep! Einstein's Dreams and Alice's Adventures Underground.
(First let me say that I plan on going to the Central Sq. Theater as soon as I can!)
I have neve participated in a blog, and so I do not know if this comment should be branched off. Please tell me.
I would like to begin a discussion on the economics of home repair in Area 4. For many years, I have driven down Western Ave. and my gut feeling is that home renovation there is done with government money. How does this work? Can Area 4 people whose homes a run down be enabled to obtain government money for renovations?
Charles, You can post your idea as a new blog entry, instead of as a comment to this one. Go ahead and repeat yourself. It's not out of place, since you're starting a new topic.
